I attended the rally for a public option in health care reform legislation on July 28. The rally was organized by labor unions and neighborhood organizations, and supported by healthcareforamericanow.org, MoveOn.org and other progressive groups. After holding signs on SE Military Drive outside Congressman Ciro Rodriguez' office, we met with a member of Ciro's staff inside the office to make the case for a strong public option.
