MLK March, OFA Happy Hour, & Phone banking

Three big events this week and next. March with alamObama at the Martin Luther King Day Parade. Monday, January 18, 8:00 a.m. We'll gather at the Boys and Girls Club at 3503 MLK Dr. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?invites&eid=247199058310 - As we approach the 1st anniversary of President Obama's inauguration, it is important for us to show that our support and enthusiasm for the President is as strong as ever. Remember how it was in the 08 March, with over 200 of us? Well, it's time to get fired up and get ready to go again! Please send this invitation along to your friends.

We'll gather at the Boys and Girls Club at 3505 MLK Dr. right at the intersection of MLK and Brooksdale Dr. You can park on the side streets south of MLK: Dorie and Lincolnshire, but get there early and look for the alamObama banner.

Attire: Obama gear, if you have the yellow Keeping the Dream Alive vinyl placard from '08, wear that too. The weather will be sunny and pleasant.
